Williamsburg biker steals driver’s sunglasses

Police are looking for a bicyclist who punched a driver in Williamsburg and then stole his sunglasses.

Authorities say that on Friday, August 19, at about 1:40 p.m., a 22-year-old man was waiting on a red light at the intersection of Wythe Avenue and South 6th Street in Williamsburg.

All of a sudden, a woman riding a bike approached the man and punched him, causing cuts on the side of his face.

She then took his sunglasses and left toward Kent Avenue.
